Financial economic information

FerroAtlántica Group is a world-leading producer of Silicon Metal and Manganese and Ferrosilicon alloys and also manufactures foundry products and addition products for the steel industry. Belongs to Villar Mir Group.

The Group's business comprises:

Electrometallurgy, with fifteen factories: five in Spain, six in France, one in Venezuela, two in South Africa and one in China, where the Group intends to build what will be the largest Silicon Metal factory in the world in the vicinity of the city of Kangding, Sichuan province.

Its facilities include 46 furnaces with an installed power of 1,024 MW, which produce more than 1 million tonnes per year of ferroalloys.

Energy, as the Group is the leading independent Spanish producer of hydroelectric power, with 7 hydroelectric plants in Galicia, 5 in Aragon and 2 in France, with an installed capacity of 209 MW and an average annual production of 650 Million KWh.

Mining, for the production of Silicon alloys. The Group operates mines in Galicia, Venezuela and South Africa.

Photovoltaic Solar Power: production of photovoltaic solar Silicon Metal, based on electrometallurgical processes.
